SAMPLE ANSWER:

The two pie charts given provide the percentage of the subjects picked up by British secondary school students in two widely apart years, that is in 1995 and today (2022). Overall, it is inferred from the supplied charts that there is inclusion as well as exclusion of subjects in the current year. Moreover, the changes in the percentage of options such as Geography and History are almost insignificant in the given two years and stagnation can be observed in the interest manifested in the Business over the years, along with a plunge in the choice of Arts at present.

A glance at the charts depicts that 6 subjects had been part of the 1995 education programme. By comparison, the current course of study consists of five subjects, four old and one new. The percentage share of History was slightly above one-quarter of all subjects of 1995, which with a slight reduction has become precisely a quarter now in 2022. Conversely, Geography enrollments were 21 percent previously (1995), which represents a minimal increase to 23 percent at present. Furthermore, on the interest maintenance side, the engagements in Business are sketched out same in both the years mentioned, though share was moderate, that is to say 16 percent only.

Apart from the old subjects like Geography,  Business and History, another subject that has ensured its place in the present day curriculum, is the Arts. In 1995, 15 percent of students opted for this, however, by the year 2022, the inclination towards this subject has notably slumped to become almost half to hit 8 percent. That is the least preferred option at the moment. In addition, two subjects,  namely RS and Drama, which were included in the 1995 studies with the percentages 9 and 12 respectively, are completely eliminated from the subject options now. In place of these, a new subject titled IT is inserted into current education that has drawn a maximum number of students so far, expressly 27 percent.
