The bar charts below show the prevalence of obesity among boys and girls aged 12 to 19 years by ethnicity, in the United States for the years 2004 and 2014.

The rendered gender-specific vertical bar graphs reveal demographic proportion concerning the pervasiveness of overweight adolescents (12-19) under three racial divisions, namely Non-Hispanic White, Non-Hispanic Black and Hispanic, inhabiting the United States in two particular years 2004 and 2014.

Overall, it is apparent that in the former year mentioned, plump boys exhibited a virtually identical percentage in all backgrounds, whereas the latter year surprised with a significant acceleration among Hispanics. Moreover, a flash at stout teen girls reported  Non-Hispanic Blacks leading both years.

To commence with deeper analysis of male ethnicity categorical graphics, it surfaces that in 2004, discrete descents recorded great affinity in proportion of obese teenager boys at 12, 11 and 13 in Non-Hispanic White, Non-Hispanic Black and Hispanic races respectively. As time passed, the percentage surged in all three groups. However, for Hispanics, the ratio more than doubled to hit 27% in 2014, while Non-Hispanic Whites increased only slightly by 5%.

Probing into graph regarding corpulent females in the age bracket of 12-19 details that in 2004 as well as in 2014 Non- Hispanic White and Hispanic girls depicted less proportion in contrast to corresponding male categories. Apart from this,  upto 2014, both sections soared by merely 5%. On the other hand, overweight non-Hispanic black girls excelled relative to other female ethnic groups with a minor percentage in 2004 and a sizable fraction in 2014. Their percentage was set at 16 and 29 in the initial and final year. Interestingly, these shares also surpassed all male origins, depending on the year.
